There are many benefits to teaching at St. Peter School. I like that we get to learn about God and attend Mass each week as a school family. I also like that through school and church we get to know our students and their families very well.
I work to provide the structure that students need to have a good learning environment yet still enjoy learning. I also work to build a good relationship with students so they want to learn and understand the value of learning.
In fourth grade, we have the opportunity to be buddies with the kindergarten class. We help them during mass and many other school activities.

Get to know me...
I have received an Associates of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education, a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and have my Illinois State Teacher Certificate. My husband Bob and I have always lived in Quincy. We have two married children and a grandson.
I have been a part of St. Peter School and Parish most of my life. This is where I went to school as well as my children. I have also been a teacher’s aide and parent volunteer at St. Peter School. I enjoy walking, swimming, boating, and visiting my children and grandson.
