5th Grade Teacher

Mrs. Michelle Haskins

I try to take a very “hands on” approach to my teaching style. I believe that students learn more by doing and taking an active role in the learning process, rather than just reading the information.

There are many things I like about teaching at St. Peter School. The faculty and staff are supportive and great to work with. As a teacher, having families that are helpful and supportive is also very important, and we are fortunate to have such people here at this school. As a former parent, I have also had the experience of really working with the teachers and seeing how much they really care about our children and pass on the Catholic faith to them.

There are many unique experiences that I offer my students several science experiments and many other academic activities throughout the year.
