Ryan Shinn

In my Physical Education classes, I like to focus on maintaining a positive learning environment, all while developing age appropriate skills, and having fun. My goal is to make each class exciting for every student by coming up with creative games that develop skills and keep each student moving. My classes focus on teamwork, following directions, but most of all I want the students to learn and have fun. I like to keep an organized classroom, and I expect the students to respect themselves, others, and the equipment. My hope for every student is life long learning. I want them to find an activity or skills that they love to perform even outside the PE class. I also provide my classes with a constantly changing, broad variety of fun activities that help students develop new skills. I will never just “roll out the ball”. Each class will be filled with fun activities and games that the students will want to play over and over again. Children love to move, and in my class, they will do just that. I am a huge proponent in using stations, and coming up with games that will help each student sharpen their skills.

I am excited and blessed to be teaching at St. Peter School. The students are respectful and dedicated to participating in PE.
