I enjoy teaching at St. Peter School because of the religious based education, the family involvement, the educational opportunities available, the dedicated staff, the students and their willingness to learn and accept challenges, and the opportunities to help students succeed.
Some of the opportunities offered to my students are to be successful and feel a sense of achievement.
They will have opportunities to construct geometric towers and test their strength, find the area and circumference of circles with the use of bubbles, create symmetrical patterns, devise a survey involving a large amount of people and transfer the results to multiple graphs, work with coordinate planes, and many other things.
My philosophy of teaching is to provide an educational environment that meets all students’ needs. I will provide a faith based, hands on, interactive classroom that will help each student succeed to the best of their ability.

Get to know me...
I am a graduate of Quincy Notre Dame and received a B.S. in Elementary Education from Quincy University with certificate endorsements in Language Arts and Social Science.
I was born and raised in Quincy with two wonderful parents and one sister. I feel privileged that I have two parents who sent my sister and I through the Catholic school system.
During the summer of 2013 I married Josh Factor. I have two girls, Molly and Delaney. I also have four step children, Alexis, Michaela, and twin boys Braydon, and Branigan. I also have a cat and a dog. We all enjoy spending time together with our family and friends.
We enjoy the outdoors, swimming, boating, four-wheeler riding, hunting, baking, and spending quality time at our family farm. We enjoy going to the Ozarks in the summer, St. Louis, and to as many football and baseball games that we can. I would love to travel more.
My favorite football and baseball teams are the Dallas Cowboys and the St. Louis Cardinals!
