At St. Peter School, our Kindergarten through 8th Grade program delivers a well-rounded, academically rigorous, and faith-filled education. Every child is guided to grow intellectually, spiritually, and emotionally within a nurturing, Christ-centered community.

Faith Integrated Across All Grades

Faith is the lens through which we teach, serve, and live. Faith integration at St. Peter School includes the following.

  • Daily morning prayer and prayer throughout the day
  • Weekly Mass and student-led worship
  • Catholic religion curriculum in every grade
  • Ruah Woods Theology of the Body curriculum
  • 8th Grade Apologetics Program – equipping students to explain and defend their faith
  • Faith-based service projects and monthly Spirit Days

Student Support Services

We are committed to supporting every learner at every level. Our K–8 student support programs include:

Academic Support

  • TITLE I: Extra help in Reading, Writing, and Math (Grades K–6)
  • READING RECOVERY: Specialized 1:1 program for eligible 1st graders
  • ACADEMIC SPECIALIST: Individualized and small group instruction across grade levels

Social-Emotional Support

  • FULL-TIME SCHOOL COUNSELOR: Provides 1:1, group, and classroom-based support
  • PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: Ongoing training for teachers to better support diverse learning needs
  • CLASSROOM AIDES: Additional instructional support ranging from 90 minutes to 5 hours daily

Core Academic Curriculum

Our curriculum aligns with both state and national standards while incorporating Catholic values in every subject.

Language Arts

We implement evidence-based literacy instruction that builds a strong foundation in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.

Math

Our hybrid approach combines a strong foundation in number sense with real-world problem-solving strategies.

Science

Aligned to the Next Generation Science Standards, our science curriculum encourages inquiry and hands-on experimentation.

Social Studies

Students explore thematic units in geography, history, civics, and world cultures — connecting the past to current global events.

Music

Music classes provide exposure to rhythm, instruments, singing, and music appreciation, building confidence and creativity.

Physical Education

Students learn healthy habits, teamwork, and coordination through structured games and activities.

STEM

In our hands-on STEM program, students engage in meaningful challenges that combine science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Elective Options

7th and 8th grade students are offered electives that introduce topics beyond the core curriculum, expanding creativity and curiosity before high school.
